
Fuzzy was a lifelong resident of Old Orchard Beach. He was a lieutenant for the OOB Fire Department and owned and operated Fuzzy’s Service Center doing small engine repairs in Saco. Fuzzy spent many years doing the job he loved most — lobstering. He was most relaxed and at peace while out on the open water.
He will be remembered for his big heart, great sense of humor, his strength and his love for his family.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Lawrence and Ethelynn Merrill; and his sister, Donna Roy.
He is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Claudette Jacques Merrill; his daughters, Karen Geaumont and Pamela (Norman) Ledoux; his grandchildren, Ryan St. Pierre, Mykala Geaumont, Holly Ledoux and Kari Ledoux; and his great-grandchildren, Devynn, Gregory, Isabelle and Isaac.
Visitation will be held 10 to noon Monday, Oct. 2, 2017, at Cote’s Funeral Home, 87 James St. in Saco. The funeral service will follow the visitation promptly at noon. Burial will be on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
