NORTH WATERBORO — Theresa B. LaSante, 87, of North Waterboro, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.

She was born in Springvale on Jan. 22, 1928, a daughter of Ozea H. and Lydia (Poisson) Houde. She was educated in Saco and Biddeford schools.

Theresa was employed by Raytheon Electronics in Andover and Lowell, Massachusetts, for 25 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Raytheon Ladies Club.

She was an avid golfer. Her hobbies included gardening and playing cards. She enjoyed dancing with her husband Mickey, traveling and going to Foxwoods and Oxford casinos.

Theresa is preceded in death by: her husband, Maurice “Mickey” LaSante on Dec. 4, 1992; and by several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by: three daughters, Joyce Bonney and her husband William, Nancy Lavallee and her husband Stephen, and LoAnne McDonald and her husband Wayne; five grandchildren, Carrie and her husband Geoff, Kristen and her husband Christopher, Meghan, Steve Jr. and his fiancée Rikki, and Michelle; 11 great-grandchildren, Cristofer, Dustin, Ashley, Jeremie, Briana, Amanda, Gabe, Aiden, Reagan, Sidney and Reece; three brothers, Gerry, Bobby and Ray Houde; five sisters, Lucille Reed, Carmen Cote, Laurette Labbe, Pauline Levesque and Doris Vail; and several nieces and nephews.

A gathering will be from 9:30”“11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28 at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday, March 28 at Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish in Saco. Burial will be in the spring in St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
