DAYTON — Dorothy Jane White, 90, of Whispering Willow Lane in Dayton, passed away June 12, 2017, at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford.

She was born in Portland on June 6, 1927, the daughter of Starett and Lillian Pratt Pierce.

Dorothy attended local schools and graduated from South Portland High School. She enjoyed painting.

Dorothy is a member of the East Waterboro Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by: her first husband, Scott Moser in 1959, a second husband, Herman Stetson; another husband, Edgar White: and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth in 2009.

Survivors include: a daughter, Leigh Schoch and husband, Richard, of Goffstown, New Hampshire; a sister, Marjory Lillian Oaks of Saco; 10 grandchildren, Phalen, Wesley, Drew, Blake, Elizabeth, Mark, Jonathan, Phillip, Tim and Hannah; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home 13 Portland Road, Buxton (Bar Mills), Maine, Friday, June 16, from 5 to 6 p.m. and again Saturday, June 17, from 9 to 9:30 a.m. A 9:30 a.m. funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Pastor Charles Storey will officiate. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Cemetery.
