KENNEBUNKPORT — Kenneth Lloyd Brennan, 69, a resident of Kennebunkport, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at Biddeford Estates, following a brief illness.
Ken was born Oct. 10, 1944 in Biddeford, a son of William and Grace E. (Leach) Brennan.
He grew up in Kennebunkport and attended local schools.
Mr. Brennan held many jobs, including working as a mason, caddying and for 17 years at Hope Cemetery as a groundskeeper.
Ken lived to play golf, which was his passion, and loved watching the Red Sox. He walked to and from work every day, and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include: his brother, Charles T. Brennan of Kennebunkport; three sisters, Wilma Norman of Arundel, Jane McGuire of Kennebunkport and Mildred Healy of Oregon; many nieces and nephews; and a wide circle of extended family and friends.
There are no calling hours. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the home of Jane McGuire, 27 Log Cabin Road, Kennebunkport, on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. Should friends desire, donations in Ken’s name may be made to the Animal Welfare Society, P.O.
