He was born July 6, 1951 in Biddeford, the son of Raymond A. and Rachel J. (Croteau) Laflamme. Ron was a graduate of St. Louis High School in 1969 and SMVTI in 1971.
On Sept. 18, 2014, he married Sharon Field at Biddeford Pool.
Ron was a self employed plumbing and heating contractor, retiring last December due to illness.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the St. Louis Alumni Association. Ron also served on the Board of Directors of the Biddeford Ice Arena and was also a member the St. Andre Church Parish Council.
He loved dancing including Saturday nights at Surf 6; his greatest love and interest was being with people. Ron was a people person. His positive outlook on life was truly inspirational. He had a way of making everyone feel good about themselves. He built a successful plumbing business on fairness and loyalty, and treated everyone with respect. His customers were more like family to him and many became dear friends. He will be truly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Field Laflamme of Biddeford; his daughter, Carrina Freeman and her husband, Skip of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his son, Casey Laflamme and his wife, Laura of Westfield, New Jersey; a sister, Diane Martel and her husband, Don, of Biddeford; grandchildren, Londyn and Walker Laflamme; a stepson, George Dineen and his wife, Priscilla; step-grandchildren, Tucker and Madison Dineen and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting Hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St,, Biddeford, ME 04005. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. in the Hope Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
