SPRINGVALE — When the folks at Nasson Community Bicycle Center were contemplating hosting a fundraiser, they settled, quite naturally, on a bicycle ride.

The Four Leaf Clover Ride rolls off from Nasson Community Center at 457 Main St. at 7 a.m. Sunday.

Bicyclists can choose to ride all four 25-mile loops in the “four leaf clover,” or a combination of one or more.

Bicyclists riding all four loops will start at 7 a.m.; those riding one or more start at 7:30 a.m. All loops depart and return to Nasson Community Center.

Nasson Community Bicycle Center Director Peter Chace said there will be food and drink at the start and finish, and for the riders to fuel up in between loops. There will also be a meal for the riders afterwards, with a DJ and live music for entertainment, he said.

The Nasson Community Bicycle Center, located in the basement of the Nasson Community Center, provides young people an opportunity to earn a bicycle for themselves by building a bike for the community. The young person works with staff and volunteers to completely overhaul both bicycles.

Nasson Community Bicycle Center works with the Sanford school system and the Sanford Parks and Recreation Department to provide bike rides through the Junior High Bike Club and the summer boys and girls day camps.

The cost to ride is $45 in advance; to register, visit the website bikereg.com/four-leaf-clover-ride. Registration on Sunday at the race is $55.

Not riding? Also on Sunday, the community bicycle center will host a family fun day at Nasson Community Center. Open to the public, families are invited to play games, have a meal, and visit with Broose D Moose and Elsa. Organizers will host a raffle with prizes donated by local merchants; one of the prizes includes a basketball signed by members of the 2015-16 Boston Celtics, Chace said in a news release.
