NORTH BERWICK — The visiting Massabesic field hockey team shut out Noble 9-0 Wednesday evening.
The Mustangs offense surged throughout the game, and started the night off strong by taking a 6-0 lead in the first half.
Massabesic had six different goal scorers and four players with assists as they battered Noble goalie Mia Colantuoni with 40 shots.
Logan Champlin, Emma Rutledge and Jackie Bearse all scored two goals while Emma Desrochers, Sophia LaFrance and Kaylee St. Laurent added one apiece.

After a tight first half where the Sanford outshot Gorham 10-7, the Rams powered past Sanford in the second half on Wednesday.
Marissa Nance scored Sanford’s lone goal, while goalie Jordan Benvie recorded 11 saves.
Thornton Academy 5, Bonny Eagle 0
Thornton Academy shut down the visiting Bonny Eagle Scots Wednesday evening at TA.
Cat Henaire and Taylor Ouellette put the Trojans on the board in the first have to give TA the 2-0 advantage.
Ouellette would score two more in the second, along with a goal from Claire Decker to secure the win.
