SANFORD — Rita M. Tetreau, 94, of Sanford, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016, at the Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth.
She was born in Sanford on March 12, 1922, a daughter of the late Auguste and Sarah (Robichaud) Mauzerolle.
She was preceded in death by: her first husband, Richard Shepard; her second husband, Raoul Tetreau; her children, Maurice Shepard and Patricia Shepard Boucher; her brothers, William Mclaughlin, Armand Mclaughlin, Hector Mauzerolle and Alfred Mauzerolle; and her sisters, Suzanne Mauzerolle, Marion Mauzerolle Smith, Azilda Mauzerolle Bisson, Emela Mauzerolle Mutty, Zoe Ann Mauzerolle Bates and Orpha Mauzerolle Beaudoin.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Albert Tetreau, Diane Roger and Theresa Packard; one grandson, Patricia Boucher’s son Allen Boucher; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, at Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. Visiting hours will be 10 a.m. to the time of the service. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
