
He was born in Saco on April 24, 1966, the son of Norman and Susan Lord Waycott.
Steven attended local schools and graduated from Thornton Academy. He served in the United States Marine Corps.
After his service to his country, he returned home and worked as a fisherman, sea urchin harvester, and later as a carpenter. He coached Old Orchard Beach Little League for several years.
He was preceded in death by: his mother; two brothers, Norman and John; and a sister, Sandra.
He is survived by: his father of Saco; two sons, Eric Waycott of Saco and Craig Nason of Old Orchard Beach; a daughter, Randa Nason of Old Orchard Beach; two brothers, Timothy and Ethan Waycott of Michigan; a sister Laurie Brink of Portland; and three grandchildren, Jorden, Jacqueline and Colten.
