
“It is a great time to come to play a little in Old Orchard Beach,” said Sharri MacDonald, a member of OOB365, a local economic development organization .
The event begins Thursday with a kid’s carnival at Loranger Memorial School from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities will include a slide, a bounce house and carnival games.
On Friday night, there will be a sledding party downtown from 4-9 p.m., and Old Orchard Street will be transformed into a snow hill.
The fun continues on Saturday with sledding from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and other activities including pony rides, ice bowling and snow man building.
J.J.s Eatery will host a character breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, and children who go to the restaurant to eat that morning are encouraged to come in costume.
For adults, there will be a pub crawl Saturday at 7 p.m.
“A lot of planning has gone into this event for the benefit of our citizens and their families, and we appreciate OOB365’s efforts,” said Assistant Town Manager V. Louise Reid.
