SANFORD — Bridgette Ann Audet, 52, of Sanford, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Oct. 2, 2015.

Bridgette was born in Westbrook on May 30, 1963. She was welcomed into the family of the late Jean and Claire Audet as an infant and later adopted, along with her older sister, Priscilla. Bridgette grew up in Kittery and attended Kittery schools before relocating to the Sanford area.

Bridgette was happiest when she could help others. She was at her best when she worked for Caring Unlimited, which gave her the opportunity to help families in need. Bridgette was a kind and gentle soul who left us too soon and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bridgette is survived by: three children and three grandchildren, Alicia Chick of Lewiston and her daughter Kendall, Jennifer Chick of Sanford and her daughter Kaylee and son Robert, and Barry Chick of Bangor. She is also survived by: siblings, Louise Hamilton of Gorham, Richard Audet of Georgia, Linda Audet of Ohio, Jean Audet of New York, Paul Audet of Eliot, Priscilla Wotton, Rose Fotter of Belgrade Lakes, and Janice Guillemette of Shapleigh and Leonard Daniel.

A funeral service for Bridgette will be held on Monday, Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St. in Springvale. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home beginning at noon until the time of the funeral service.
