SACO — The Westbrook cross country teams swept a quad- meet at Thornton Academy on Friday. South Portland came in second in both the boys and girls meets, while Biddeford was third and Thornton Academy fourth in both meets. On the boys’ side, Biddeford was led by Jordan Cook, who crossed the line in second place with a time of 16: 57. The Tigers also got a fourth- place finish from Trevor Jordan. The TA boys were led by Tristan Falardeau, who came across the line in 13th place. On the girls side, TA was led by Katie LeBlanc’s fourth- place finish. Riley McNeil led Biddeford with a seventhplace finish.

Thornton Aca demy 6, McAuley 0
Thornton Academy goalie Lexi Nason earned her sixth shutout of the season and the 23rd of her career, which ties a school record, during Friday night’s win. The Trojans got two goals each from Hannah Niles and Barrett Campbell and Hannah McAlary and Hayden Campbell also found the back of the net in the win.
Volleyball
Thornton Aca demy 3, Port land 0
The Trojans won the sets 25- 10, 25- 11 and 25- 14 to pick up the win. Julia Chasse led TA with 22 assists and Kylee Austin added 14 kills in the win.
Boys Soccer
Falmouth 4, Kennebunk 1
Falmouth jumped out to a 3- 0 lead and then held on from there to take down host Kennebunk.
The Rams got a goal from Spencer Thibodeau, who took a pass from Bo Beverage and beat the Falmouth keeper.
