LISBON — Karen Marie (Scullen) Morris, of Lisbon, ME, died on July 5, 2018, at the age of 63.
Karen was born on July 20, 1954 in Akron, Ohio, to Richard Paul and Eleanor Dorothy (Lackey) Scullen.
She moved to Maine in 1977, living and working in various coastal communities. Upon landing in Lisbon in 1982, she served the community through her creative crafting abilities as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader for many years, as well as assisting with the previous Marion T. Morse elementary school holiday activities. As her children grew, Karen went on to work at the local McDonald’s, where she continued her work with the community and served as the general manager until 2009.
Karen is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Eleanor. She is survived by her children, Thain
Witham and Krista
Morris; granddaughter Abbigail; stepmother Sandra
Scullen; siblings
Katheren, Carol,
Annett, Catherine,
Brian, and Kevin; her previous husbands Thomas Morris and David Witham; and many close friends.
The family would like to thank the many case managers, caregivers, and medical staff that assisted Karen in recent years.
At her request, no service will be held.
