LEWISTON — The Lewiston High School jayvee boys lacrosse team edged Mt. Ararat, 9-5, recently in a game played at Bates College.
Nolan Blessington led the Eagles (2-4-1) with three goals and one assist. Eli Schoenberg had a pair of goals and two assists. Elias Linkel chipped in an assist.
Goalie Bryce LaFrance made five stops while splitting time in the net with Ryan Hilton (one save).
Tristen Burch, Brewster Chard and Trace Saucier all played well for the Eagles in the loss.
The team travels to Auburn today to play Edward Little.
