BRUNSWICK — In honor of the 20th anniversary of Space Day, Curtis Memorial Library on April 30 from 5:30-7 p.m. will host aerospace expert Bruce Ewenson as he presents “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moon — We Discovered Earth!” at the Morrell Meeting Room. Since its launch in 1997, the Space Day educational initiative, which takes place on the first Friday of each May, has evolved into a grassroots effort dedicated to the extraordinary achievements, benefits and opportunities in the exploration and use of space.
