
He was born on Dec. 19, 1935, in Mt. Chase, the son of Adrian and Emma MacDonald.
Junior was a member of the Bowdoinham Snowbirds and Somerville Snowmobile Club.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, working on trails, four-wheeling, deer hunting, sitting by the bay watching the eagles and spending time with family.
Junior worked through the years at the Machine Shop, Augusta Mental Health Institution and Lipman Poultry.
He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Carol MacDonald of Bowdoinham; daughter, Melody and Bruce Berry of Bowdoinham; son, Eric Mac- Donald of Augusta; sisters, Helen Burke of Massachusetts, Patricia Carlisle of Massachusetts, Alta and Roland Jarvis of Millinocket, Judy and Dana Osborne of Augusta, Jeannette and Jean Morrison of Millinocket, and Arderienne Raymond of South Portland; grandchildren, Josh MacDonald of Bowdoinham and Sara Berry of Bowdoinham; and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, July 14, from 1-3 p.m. at the Bowdoinham Fire Department.
Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
