RICHMOND — Jennifer A. Longley (Bulmer) Geary, 45, of Dragon Fly Lane, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at her home.

She was born on July 19, 1967, in Augusta, the daughter of Bonita Longley (Bulmer Lafferty).

Jennifer was a graduate of the University of New England in Biddeford, and the University of Maine. She was an RN and worked in several institutions from Portland to the Madison area. Jennifer particularly loved working with the elderly.

Her hobbies were crafts, reading and enjoying the time to reflect. She and Richard did many things at their house working together. Jennifer loved to travel and did an annual trip to Florida and other locations.

Jennifer was predeceased by her grandparents, Alton and Alice Williams (Dyer) Longley.

She leaves behind her husband of 26 years, Richard L. Geary Jr., of Richmond; children, Caitlin (Bulmer) Geary and significant other Mat Seigars of Brunswick, Stephen Geary and wife Tiffany of New Jersey, Timothy Geary and wife Akane of Massachusetts; mother, Bonita Lafferty and husband Thomas of N.H.; brother, Scott Bulmer and significant other Rebecca of South Portland; niece, Sophie; grandchildren, Maddelynn “Maddy,” the absolute joy of her life, also Caralynn and Jazmine; cousin, Amy Longley Moller and husband John of Portland; mother- and father-in-law, Marion and Louis Medlin of Florida; aunts, Diane Longley, Kathryn Dyer Kennedy and husband Lee and family of The Forks; uncle, Richard Dyer and wife Beverly of Madison; sister in-law, Patty Geary of Windham; stepbrother, Thomas and fiancée Erica of Maryland; and several other family members.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 6, at noon at 45 Dragon Fly Lane in Richmond.

Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond.
