FAIRFIELD — Lawrence High School used an opening 13-2 first quarter advantage to withstand a determined Brunswick comeback in a 38- 30 jayvee girls basketball victory over the Dragon Orange squad on Tuesday.

Sasha Hampton led the Dragons with 11 points and Sabrina Levesque added eight points. Hampton and Elizabeth Day played well defensively for Brunswick, which outscored the Bulldogs 11-5 in the final quarter to make a late game run into the Lawrence lead.
