FRYEBURG — The Freeport High School boys Nordic squad captured the Western Maine Conference title on Friday at Stark’s Hill.
The boys raced in constant snowfall, with the Falcons winning both the classic and skate races.
The Freeport girls had a solid day, taking third in the WMC.
Lily Horne finished second overall for Freeport in both races. On the boys side, Bennett Hight, Yacob Olins, John Smail and John Giddens each finished in the top 10 of the classical race. In the skate, Olins and Giddens earned top-10 finishes.
