Charles Francis Rogers, age 88, died peacefully on January 1, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born May 13, 1928 to parents Alva and Thelarise Rogers in Lynn, Massachusetts.
On May 2, 1953 he married Kathryn Helen Lenfest and had four children. He worked as a maintenance man for Stinson Canning. He enjoyed turning bowls on his wood lathe in his workshop.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn, his eldest daughter Pamela Simmons, his son Wayne Rogers, his daughter Karen Prey, and his youngest daughter Amy Stanton. He is survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 greatgrandchildren.
He was a brilliant man with a keen sense of humor and will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be held at some point in the late spring.
