BATH — Alma A. (Labbe) Michaud, 87, formerly of Brunswick, died peacefully on January 27, 2017 at Winship Green Health Center, Bath, Maine. She was born in Topsham, Maine on November 28, 1929, the daughter of Leonce and Dora (Lemay) Labbe.

For most of her life, she was employed as a stitcher at various local clothing manufacturers and later worked at Bath Iron Works until her retirement.

She was married for 33 years to Euclid Michaud who passed away in January 1980.

She is survived by her three daughters, Suzanne Messerli of Highland, IL; Diane Galella and her husband Fred of Monroe, NJ; and Lorraine Snyder of Topsham, ME; six grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and her sisters Irene Ervine of Bowdoinham, and Doris Powell of Menominee, MI. She was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Labbe, sister Dora Labbe, and son-in-law Leonard Messerli.

A memorial service will be held, 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick, ME. Burial will be at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
