BATH — Eleanor Marie King, 70, of Congress Avenue, died on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at her residence.
She was born on Aug. 10, 1944, in Boston, MA, the daughter of Sherman F. and Josephine (Mansfield) King. She was educated in Boston schools.
Ellie was a very active and devoted volunteer at the Bath Area Food Bank. She always had a heart for helping others and made a difference in all those she served.
She is survived by her brother, Peter S. King and sister, Mary King Milton, of Florida, and a sister, Patricia MacDonnell, of Vermont.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 144 Lincoln St., Bath. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to be made to the Bath Area Food Bank, P.O. Box 65, Bath, ME 04530 in Ellie’s honor.
