TOPSHAM — Led by Ryan Mello and Nick Merrill, the Mt. Ararat High School freshman boys basketball team turned a close game into a runaway with a 51-30 victory over Cony on Saturday.
The Eagles led by five at the half, but outscored the Rams, 28-12 in the second half.
Mt. Ararat visits Lewiston today.
