
Catherine was born in Brunswick January 17, 1957, a daughter to Hugh Golden and Elizabeth Bernier. A 1975 graduate of Brunswick high school, she studied nursing at Central Maine Technical Institute and graduated in 1977. She married David Littlefield, her husband of 33 years, on August 18th, 1979 in Brunswick.
Catherine’s love of family and children influenced her career path, and she spent her entire working life as an OBGYN nurse, bringing the joy of new life to families across Midcoast Maine. A homebody who loved time with her family and closest friends above all else, she was truly a blessing to all those whose lives she touched.
Three brothers, Michael Golden, Daniel Golden, and Francis Golden predeceased her.
Her husband, David; a son, Nickolas Littlefield of Cambridge, MA; a sister, Marie Smith of Elko NV; and 7 nieces and nephews survive her.
