BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High seventh grade boys basketball team continued its strong play of late with a solid 51-32 win over Oxford Hills on Wednesday.
The 3-2 Huskies were led by Colby Buckman and Alex Small, who recorded 14 and 10 points, respectively. They were helped by the strong overall play of Jack Bates, Will Stevens and Forest Blankenship. Sam Dorval and Small were able to control the boards that let Brunswick open the game up with strong second and third quarters to lead 41-21 after three.
Oxford Hills was led by Chris St. Pierre and Trevor Goodrich with eight points each. Jacob Padgett chipped in with seven.
The Huskies next play Monday at home against Tripp.
