FARMINGTON — Blake Gordon scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Brunswick High School to a 70-39 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference boys basketball win over Mt. Blue on Friday.
The Dragons improved to 6- 3 and are scheduled to visit Hampden Academy on Friday.
Konnor Scarponi chipped in with 10 points and six assists, while Derek Devereaux and Ryan Black had seven points each and Brett Lancaster six.
The Dragons led 18-10, 39-21 and 54-32 at the breaks.
At the foul line, Brunswick was 12 of 19 and Mt. Blue eight of 13.

Freeport came out strong, scoring 10 first-quarter points, but Falmouth (8-0) went up 18-10 late in the quarter and extended its lead to 35-16 at the half and 55-19 through three quarters.
Jack Davenport paced the Falcons with 13 points and six rebounds.
Grant Burfeind led the Yachtsmen with 12 points and Jackson Simons had a doubledouble with 10 points and a like number of rebounds.
Freeport was two of three from the charity stripe, while Falmouth finished 14 of 25.

RICHMOND 32
The host Bobcats turned the ball over 42 times in a loss to North Yarmouth Academy (3-5) on Monday.
The Panthers jumped out to a 19-2 first-quarter lead before Richmond (2-6 and slated to host Buckfield tonight at 7 p.m.) made a second-quarter run to close to 30-22 at the half. But, NYA outscored the Bobcats 12-4 in the third quarter to take control.
Burke Paxton paced the Panthers with 14 points, while Ryan Hemmenway chipped in 11. LT Dahia had a game-high 12 rebounds.
For Richmond, Mike Stewart had 14 points and Randy Moody seven.

WISCASSET 28
In Mountain Valley Conference girls play on Monday, Boothbay led 13-2, 27-11 and 45- 19 at the breaks.
Briana Goud paced the 2-6 Wolverines with 15 points, while Kayla Gordon and Hannah Malloy had four each.
Sarah Caron paced Boothbay with 21 points, while Alison Crocker added 11, Morgan Crocker nine and Alex Clarke six.
Boothbay used excellent perimeter shooting to jump out to an early lead,” said Wiscasset coach Patrick Quinn. “Wiscasset was able to get the game into single digits in the second half, but Boothbay pressured the ball and pulled away.”
Wiscasset is scheduled to host Carrabec on Friday.
