Presentations will be followed by broader discussion.

A news release describes Vital Connections as a forum that provides an opportunity for various localization efforts, initiatives and activists for social change to hear and learn from and about one another. The hope and expectation is that in this way the forum will contribute to stimulating the building of a new society from the bottom up in the Mid-coast region.

This multi-project network is a coalition focused on peace, democracy, environment, agriculture and food, education, community and the arts, energy, social justice, energy and small business with the goals of discovering connections among issues and of developing relationships that make activism stronger, clearer and more effective.
