
He was born on June 14, 1943 to Edward F Murray Sr. and Catherine Case in Presque Isle, Maine. He went to school in Presque Isle and joined the army during the Vietnam Era. After the Army he worked at Volkswagen for a few years then worked at BIW until his retirement in 2014. Ed always loved camping with family and good friend.
He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Ginny.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Huntley Bryant; a son, Walton and wife Rhonda, son, Brian and wife Holly; daughters, Melissa Bryant and Annette Farrin and her husband Brian and their daughter, Gretchen, who held a soft place in his heart; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Lew and his wife Molly; and a sister, Muriel.
A memorial potluck get together to celebrate his life will be held at the Phippsburg Sportsman’s Club on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 3:00pm. A burial at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta at a later date.
