NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. — Ten Eastern Connecticut State University individuals representing four sports have been recognized in the Little East Conference season-ending fall awards program.
Among the recipients is former Brunswick High School boys soccer standout Greg Walton.
The sophomore goaltender was named to the Little East Conference First Team.
Walton is the first Eastern keeper to earn First Team All-LEC accolades in consecutive seasons since Jay Barney in 2006 and 2007, and the first keeper to perform the feat in his first two seasons in 26 years of LEC balloting. Through the Little East playoffs, Walton was the conference leader in goals-against average (0.61), save percentage (.879) and shutouts, categories in which he led the LEC a year ago.
