STANDISH — The Great Northeast Athletic Conference field hockey postseason honors have been released and Saint Joseph’s College, the 2014 GNAC regular season champion, is well-represented on the list.
Six Monks received honors, including former Lisbon High School standout Bailey Cutler, who was named to the Second Team.
Cutler, a freshman, netted 11 goals and dished out three assists this fall. One of the top reasons for the Monks’ success this season, Cutler recorded more points or goals in a single season than any rookie in program history and also broke the team’s single-game goals record with four against Mount Ida on Oct. 12.
The Monks earned the No. 1 seed, but fell to fourthseeded Anna Maria College, 1-0, in a GNAC semifinal.
