BRUNSWICK — Ann Kimmage will present a brief history of meditation, as well as methods, benefits and the meaning it can bring to people’s inner lives, during a talk at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at People Plus, located at 35 Union St. in Brunswick.
Current scientific research indicates that a mindfulness meditation practice reduces stress, and improves mental and physical health. Kimmage’s talk will answer address why it’s so effective.
