BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The No. 23 nationally-ranked Bates College men’s cross country team recorded six lifetime best times Saturday at Lehigh University’s Paul Short Collegiate Invitational, placing 35th out of 42 teams from all three NCAA divisions in the highly competitive Men’s Gold division.
Junior Taylor Saucier of Freeport set a personal-best time for the Bobcats, completing the 8K course in 26:27.
Bates was fourth among Division III teams and finished ahead of Division I teams Rider, East Carolina and Connecticut.
Bates head to Open New Englands this upcoming Saturday at Boston’s Franklin Park.
