LEWISTON — The Brunswick Junior High School boys soccer teams took on Lewiston recently.
In the seventh-grade contest, Simon Paledski scored both goals in Brunswick’s 2-1 win over the Blue Demons.
Jacob Musica picked up an assist, and the Huskies defense of Tommy Labbe, Matt Poulton, Tucker Gagon and Albie Putnam, in front of keeper Kyle Delong, were relentless in turning back wave after wave.
Levy Prince scored the lone goal for Lewiston.
Brunswick and Lewiston failed to settle things in a 2-2 deadlock in the eighth-grade game.
Lane Foushee was Brunswick’s “Man of the Match” and earned an assist on a goal by Michah Pietraho. Foushee added a goal off a free kick.
Playing well for the Huskies were Fernando Saldana and Daniel Mackillop. Playing well for Lewiston were Klala Joseth and Mohamud Hasan, along with Daymon Morin.
