BRUNSWICK — Do you have a long-term care plan? Will you need rehab? Do you have the money to pay for any of these things? If not, who will pay for it? And where the heck do you go? If you don’t know the answers to these questions, you are not alone. The majority of people don’t think about long-term care until a crisis occurs.
People Plus, located at 35 Union St. in Brunswick, will host a lunch-and-learn session at noon Thursday, Oct. 9, with Rousseau Management Inc. helping unravel the mysteries of long-term care, including different types of care and various payment options. Also learn more about their facilities including Horizons Living and Rehab Center, Dionne Commons, Skolfield House and Assisted Home Care II.
Those attending should bring a bag lunch; People Plus will provide drinks, chips and dessert. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. For more information, call 729-0757.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
