FREEPORT — Maine Senior Guide and Beach Glass Transitions are hosting the Freeport Senior Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 5 Park St. in Freeport.
Thirty-six exhibitor booths will offer information on everything from senior communities and diabetes education to travel opportunities and insurance products. Starting at 10 a.m., speakers will give detailed information on topics from healthy living to joint replacements.
Free flu shots will be available all day, afternoon music by the quartet Highlight, and antique appraisals ($5 per item) to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association are a few planned activities. BoomerTECH will be answering tech, device and computerquestionsataQ& A table, and TimesTen will offer free mini-manicures from noon to 3 p.m.
