TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade baseball team earned an 8-2 win over rival Brunswick recently.
Kobe Clark tossed a one-hitter and struck out 11 over six frames for the mound victory. Brandon Durant tossed a scoreless seventh.
Clark and Duran led the Mt. Ararat offense with two hits apiece. Brian Cobb tripled and drove in two runs, while Cal Davies, Michael Caputo and Nick Holland all had key hits for the Eagles.
Evan Kilfoil pitched four strong innings for the Huskies, striking out seven. Kilfoil had the lone Brunswick hit.
