
He was born in Brunswick, April 2, 1953, a son of Paul A. and Ruth M. (Parker) Almy. He graduated from Brunswick High School, class of 1970. He was lifelong resident of Bowdoinham.
He was employed in local trucking delivery, most recently with Home Depot for over 16 years. He had also been a member of the Elks of Augusta and Brunswick.
He kept busy at home with his family, involving them in every project; either working on home improvements, tinkering with his cars, or rooting for his favorite sports teams. He felt everything was better when shared with his family.
He is survived by four sons, Davis Almy, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Lisbon, Robert Almy of Brunswick, Dean Almy and his wife Rebecca of Oregon, Randall Almy and his wife Monica of Bowdoinham; two daughters, Krystle Deemer and her husband Sherwood of Lewiston, Kasey Almy of Bowdoinham; nine grandchildren, Nate, Megan, Kourtni, Aleks, Riley, Chloi, Malaky, Jaspyr, Tristan, and 1 great grandchild, Kasen.
According to his wishes, services will be private. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association (http://www.heart.org/HEA RTORG/) or the American Lung Association ( http:// www.lung.org/). Memories and condolences can be shared at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
