Easthampton MA — Wallace (Michael) Fournier died peacefully in his sleep on Resurrection Sunday March 27,2016.

Michael was born on July 9th 1990 in Boston, MA to Susan Taber Fournier of Easthampton, MA and Wallace (Whitey) Fournier of Topsham, ME.

Michael was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a debilitating syndrome causing serious muscle weakness, mental retardation and an insatiable appetite. People with Prader-Willi never know when they are full. Michael defied many of these effects which astounded his doctors but the one that caused him the most difficulty was the insatiable appetite which he struggled with his entire 25 years.

Michael graduated in 2008 from Mt. Ararat High School with High Honors. He even took foreign language courses and excelled in them. He loved to sing and while in High School he was in Chambers Chorale, Drama Club, French Club, and PALS.

Michael was a medalist in Special Olympics. He enjoyed life, being with people. He loved singing, music and being with his family. He was a special gift from God!

He loved going to church, He Loved Jesus with his whole heart. One distinguishing characteristic was his love for learning about the Bible. Anyone who knew him knew that he took extensive notes on sermons he heard as well as in Bible studies he attended. He was a gifted young man who loved his Bible. He also enjoyed crafting and knitting, and enjoyed making special gifts for people he cared for.

He is survived by his parents, his brother Joseph and his wife Krystal, and his brother Nicholas, his maternal grandparents, Clinton and Priscilla Taber, and his paternal grandmother Louise Fournier, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

A memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday April 9th at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Church, 24 Eastern Ave, Rochester, NH 03867.
