WELLESLEY, Mass. — Junior Mary Lemay and first- year Lena Engbretson each recorded hattricks to lead Wellesley College women’s lacrosse to a 10-6 victory over the University of New England on Saturday at Wellesley’s Turf Field.
The Blue improved to 1- 1 on the season, while UNE dropped to 2- 1 and visits Bowdoin College on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Jocelyn Davee of Freeport and Brooke Kelleher each netted a pair of goals for the Nor’easters. Davee also racked up three draw controls and a groundball.
