BRUNSWICK — Seven members of the Bowdoin College women’s swimming and diving team earned All- New England Small College Athletic Conference honors following the completion of the league championship last weekend.
The top three finishers in each event at the championship receive All-Conference recognition.
Additionally, Bowdoin’s Kelsey Willard was named as the Diving Coach of the Year at the championship. Willard earned recognition for the first time in her career after having two divers finish second and third in 3-meter diving, and third and fourth in 1-meter diving. She is the second diving coach in Bowdoin program history to receive the award, joining Harvey Wheeler, who collected the award in 2006.
Divers Christine Anderson (3-meter) and Rebecca Stern (1-meter and 3-meter) earned honors, along with swimmers Sterling Dixon (400 free), Lela Garner (400 free, 400-medley relay), Bridget Killian (50 free, 400 free, 400-medley relay), Mariah Rawding (50 breaststroke, 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 400-free relay, 400- medley relay) and Mariah Reading (400-medley relay).
