Amy Lamb of the Maine Trust for Local News, formerly Maine Today Media, has been promoted to chief operating officer from her position as group vice president of financial planning and analysis. She’s been with the company since 2011. Stefanie Manning, former group vice president of consumer revenue and creative services, has been promoted to chief of staff. She joined in 2013.

Accounting and advisory firm Baker Newman Noyes promoted several employees at its Portland office, including four senior staff: Crystal Jones of South Paris has been promoted to billing manager in the operations department. She joined the firm as a billing specialist in 2019. Gregory Knight of Gorham joined in 2011 and is now a senior manager for healthcare advisory. Nathan Somes of Durham and Benjamin Staples of Scarborough are certified public accountants who have been promoted to manager in the tax practice. Other promotions are Anirudh Jhanji, senior, transaction advisory practice; Ian Lichtenberg and Nicole Pelletier, seniors, assurance practice; Julie Weglein, audit supervisor, assurance practice; and in the tax practice, Kathryn Johnson, staff II; Gage Kennedy, Derek McDonough and Patti Watters, supervising seniors; Kristen Lebreux, Kyle Lonabaugh and Mikayla Roy, seniors.

Matthew Witten of Raymond was hired as senior vice president, director of information security at Camden National Bank. He was the chief information security officer for Martin’s Point Health Care for over eight years and he received the “People Who Made a Difference in Security in 2018” award from SANS Institute.

John Mueller has been hired by S&B Financial Services as a financial advisor, accredited investment fiduciary and certified management analyst. Most recently he served as vice president of retirement investing at Nuveen.
