“I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation.” Those are the unimaginable and soulless words that came from the mouth of the heartless and incompetent current president of the United States.
It’s hard to take any words as being true when they come from his mouth. He’s an untrustworthy serial liar. In this case, what the elected (still impossible for me to accept) leader of the nation speaks appears to reveal his state of mind, i.e., his morality and policy.
If that is their president’s policy, I challenge those readers of your newspaper — whose votes anointed a would-be king — to justify his indifference to the economic hardships he has brought to bear upon the Americans he claims to not care about; Americans who are paying the tab for his (so far failed) unauthorized war.
