I find it all rather disturbing, and at the same time very amusing, that the Republicans are finding fault with Graham Platner concerning trivial misdemeanors when their Republican, our president, is a convicted felon and has been accused of all of the same offenses as Platner.

I am having a very hard time understanding how, all of a sudden, that these offenses are so important. I agree that in a perfect world, we would all rather these offenses be disqualifying, however I think this sick country has already set the low bar when they elected so many questionable people in Congress and, most of all, President Trump, who is literary destroying everything this country stands and fought for. Proof of this are the many veteran cemeteries that are full of, as Trump once said, “suckers and losers.”
