I am an aging baby boomer. My generation has failed at running the country. My younger vision was increased equality and financial stability, men getting out of women’s healthcare, saving the planet and peace.
Today, my country favors the wealthy, ignores the poor, thinks seniors are a drag on the economy, believes healthcare is optional, believes no military budget is too big and does not believe in science.
Sen. Susan Collins has been in office since Jan. 3, 1997. She has job security, great benefits and increased personal wealth. She has no clue about today’s economic stress and should not be reelected.
