I am 77 years old, a Navy veteran, highly educated and was a self-employed businessman for 40 years. In all that time, I always thought the skull and crossbones was attached to a pirate ship, not the Nazis. I have yet to find a single person who knew it was a symbol connected to Hitler.
Any intelligent person who thinks Platner knew this in advance has to be on the low rung of the ladder, intellectually — or a Republican.
