After the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision was announced, Sen. Susan Collins admitted her decisive vote for Brett Kavanaugh was based on his false reassurances and lies. Did she demand hearings? Call for his impeachment? No! She tepidly voiced “concern.”
Remember back when she and Sen. Jeff Flake orchestrated what turned out to be a sham FBI investigation into Kavanaugh’s Yale classmates’ reports about him. She is responsible for a justice being elevated to the Court and the stench of that corrupt process will linger for our lifetimes.
Substantive due process is the legal foundation of civil rights, privacy rights, LGBTQ rights and others. Dobbs eviscerates the foundation of all these rights. Susan Collins is responsible for our fundamental freedoms being placed in jeopardy with her vote for Kavanaugh.
Graham Platner needs to be the next senator from Maine. She deserves to lose her right to represent us.
