I read in the paper that the city is considering an emergency workshop on traffic safety after a pedestrian was unfortunately killed while standing on a raised median (June 23).
I certainly don’t think that anyone in the city thinks that it is a safe idea to stand there; I wouldn’t want my kids or family or friends doing that. Why doesn’t the city enact an ordinance that prohibits that? It’s an unsafe place to be and we should be pushing safety, first and foremost.
