Maine has a rich history in this country, being originally part of the Massachusetts Colony and gaining statehood in 1820, as a “free state” — in the Missouri Compromise, balancing the entrance of Missouri as a “slave state,” keeping the numbers equal.
Today, 206 years later, Maine is at a serious crossroads. Will we uphold and affirm our true heritage of being rugged, hard-working, honest, proud Maine (American) citizens? Or will we continue on the current radical trajectory of our Democrat neighbors, who reject our founding principles, and want to remake our beloved state into a Marxist, socialist, communist government?
There is a clear choice to make in our election for Maine’s U.S. Senate this year. Susan Collins is a proven, dedicated, hard-working (never missed a vote!) leader, who loves Maine’s heritage of farming, fishing, ship-building, timber, forest management, and she loves all Mainers.
I trust Sen. Collins to be thoughtful in her decisions in the U.S. Senate and to continue her allegiance to our Constitution, as it was written. Please join me in voting wholeheartedly for our U.S. senator, Susan Collins, this November.
