Westbrook resident Janice Laflamme’s balsam fir is lifted off a flatbed truck Nov. 16 to its perch on Monument Square in Portland. Laflamme donated the 42-foot, 4,800-pound tree, which will be lit at Portland’s annual tree-lighting celebration Friday, Nov. 24.
