60 Years Ago

The Westbrook American reported on Sept. 18, 1957, that Jennie Phinney, 89, of Gorham died following a lengthy illness. She was born in 1863 to Frederick and Ellen (Johnson) Phinney in Gorham. In Westbrook, Louis Sirois of Lyman Street has resumed teaching piano and dancing classes after the summer break.
